Mabetex Lift Refurbishment - Lugano: harmony between space and design
At the Mabetex offices in Lugano, we replaced two old lifts with solutions designed to blend in with the existing architecture.
The unique feature of the project was the management of a single lift shaft for both lifts.
Through a targeted technical study, we were able to optimise the dimensions, improving the safety of the separation between the two systems and increasing the size of the cabins for greater comfort.
The aesthetics play on contrasts and practicality:
- Interiors: Gold stainless steel with anti-fingerprint treatment, combining elegance and design
- Exteriors: Black doors that create a clear and refined contrast with the golden surfaces of the cabin
A tailor-made intervention that demonstrates how technology can be put at the service of design, improving the user experience without disrupting the structure of the building.
